Meet Moon Unit: A beautiful little sculpting stone made from Opalite: a gorgeous iridescent stone that symbolizes new beginnings, clear thinking and healing. It is said that Opalite has a brightening, purifying energy which is why we chose to craft our Moon Unit Gua Sha using this special stone. 

What is the meaning of Gua Sha? The literal translation of "gua" means "scrape" and "sha" means "sand", though with Gua Sha we use very light movements—there's no literal scraping, only the slightest amount of pressure is applied. This centuries old technique leads to a glowing complexion and skin that's sculpted and toned.

This practice is also a spiritual one - finding time and space to care for yourself is sacred. While using our Moon Unit Gua Sha tool, we like to close our eyes and breathe through the sweeping movements. Finding stillness, and leaning inwards.
